Mobile clock-in without continuous tracking
Nexo lets people clock in on their phone. If geofencing is on, location is checked only at clock-in. There is no background tracking.
Phone clock-in is the same Nexo web app, in the browser or as a PWA. Offline clock-in exists as a module, with later review. There is no native app. For people who do not clock in from their own phone, there is a shared clock-in terminal with employee code and PIN.
Geolocation
If a workplace enables geofencing, location is checked only at clock-in and the person sees what is being checked. Nexo does not track location in the background. No hidden telemetry. That is in the product FAQ; it is not a new promise in this post.
Privacy
Nexo data lives on EU infrastructure we operate. The corporate site has no third-party analytics, and there are no sub-processors outside the EU for product personal data, per the privacy policy.
