Website and editorial platform for Diálogo Espontáneo
We centralized the journal's workflow — from draft to publication — in a platform of their own, and gave them a public site that matches the quality of the writing.

Website and editorial platform for Diálogo Espontáneo
- 01
The situation
Editing ran across too many tools. Information lived on different platforms and in different formats. That slowed every issue more than it should, and made daily work harder for authors and for the editorial team. People spent their time jumping between systems.
- 02
What the brief asked for
- One place for the whole editorial flow, from draft to publication.
- A clear split between the author's work and the editorial team's, each with their own scope.
- Authors able to write, submit for review and follow status without email threads and loose files.
- The team able to review, send back, approve and publish from the same environment.
- A public website up to the content: articles, issues, volumes and authors.
- Room for external pitches and the call for papers.
- 03
What we built
A self-hosted editorial platform they own. The author works on the piece; the team reviews, approves and manages publication timing. When an issue is ready it goes live on the site, filed with the rest of the journal. The process is no longer scattered across tools: it is one continuous flow.
- 04
The outcome
Far fewer hours of manual coordination, and a stable public channel from which Diálogo Espontáneo can keep publishing and growing, with the system and the data in their own hands.
- One environment to write, review, approve and publish.
- A public site with articles, issues, volumes and authors.
- The journal runs and scales on its own software, not on a patchwork of tools.

What comes next
It was a long engagement, with a lot of product detail. The next job is to keep it current and evolve it as new needs appear — the same as any product that is actually operated.
